The Moment

Imagine, imagine lying yourself down on the beach at night. Listen...listen to the waves of the sea. Can you hear the sound? The sound of waves overlapping, one wave hits the shore, another follows. They just...keep coming, never-endingly, carrying along sea breezes. Can you hear it?

Look beyond the horizon, can you separate the seas from the skies? What is out there in the dark you ask yourself? But you know, deep in the oblivion, something is out there. It is shrouded by mysteries, mysteries in the dark. Can you feel it? And what will the promises of tomorrow bring when the sun dawns? Do you know it?

But wait, don't stop here. Imagine, imagine yourself listening to the most beautiful piece of music, reminiscing every note, every rhythm, and the sequence as if there was a radio beside. Can you still remember? There are things in life that they cannot take away from you, things that are buried deep in your heart, your mind. Do not forget that.

Look...look to the skies looming over the seas. The stars are scattered everywhere. Some are bright, some are dim, and some are twinkling . They are smiling, trying to speak to you. Listen to their voices. Can you hear them? And there are stars which are not visible to the human eye. But they are out there, millions and millions of them. Do you know now how insignificant you are? Your existence is like sands on the beach, tears in the rain. Neither lost nor forgotten. Neither trivial nor substantial. Moments of your life flashing by before you. It makes you think. Despite of the melancholic feeling, you want to dwell in the moment, merge with the time and space, the skies and the seas, the stars and the music. You want to speak to them. You want to dance with them in the dark. There is nothing else in the world that you could wish for. And in the moment, you want to be lost with them.

Now you say, what happens after that? In a curious way you asked, in an enlightened way I will answer. Having experienced the incredible moment, I will die without regrets, and live without worries.

Whimsical and peculiar as it may be, but these are the things that constitute beauty. The film that keeps the show running. The reason you wake up every morning and stay up every night before you go to sleep. The hope that keeps you believing in a better tomorrow. The moment, that makes life worthwhile.
